Helen Ruth Jeanette Buettner Simenson Eggebrecht was born on February 12, 1922 to Fred and Maude (Pattison) Buettner in Wolf Point, Montana. She died at the Faith Home in Wolf Point, Montana on March 8, 2013.
I was raised on the Buettner homestead north of WolfPoint. I attended the DivideSchool through the eighth grade and graduated from WolfPointHigh School in 1941.
I married Oliver Simenson on August 30th, 1941, Oliver died in 1969. Our children are Marlene, Janet, Tom and Karen.
I married Raymond Eggebrecht on November 24, 1978.
I was a waitress at Norbys Sweet Shop and the Sherman Hotel in the forties and fifties. I worked at Dasinger Cleaners for fourteen years. I started working at the Clerk and Recorder office in 1964 and served RooseveltCounty as the Clerk and Recorder for 28 years.
I was preceded in death by husband Oliver Simenson, brother Ralph Buettner, sister Hazel Gruefe and son in laws Gary Solheim and Bruce Houg and a great grandson Riley Brekke.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Eggebrecht and her four children Marlene (Dewayne) Jager, Janet Simenson, Tom (Carol) Simenson, Karen Solheim. She is also survived by her brother Duane Buettner, sister Marge Dozier and special friend Virginia Plouffe and special daughter Donna Mann, 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.
Donations can be made to the Faith Home or charity of your choice.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 14 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Wolf Point. Interment will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery.
