I am 85 and have searched for the Culbertson family for a long time. Especially Dale who loved me when we were still teenagers in Winslow, AZ. and he had just joined the Marines. We lost contact but I will never forget him. We first met in 6th grade. I babysat Lonnie, Jeannie’s first son for 4 or 5 years and adored him. I still have a picture of him and Dale wearing a small war bonnet we had. I loved their mother, Margaret and dear Sammy who served so loyally in the military during WW11. The Culbertson’s was a beautiful family. I think of all of them often and have wonderful memories of them – especially of Dale.

I am so blessed to be apart of the Culbertson family. Jeannie will always be in my heart. She told so many stories about her life and family that I will never forget. I will make sure to raise her great grandson with honor and knowledge of his people.
You will be missed by all.

I am desperately searching for Jeannie’s brother, Dale, who I understand is living in California but I do not know where. Please, if anyone of the Culbertson family sees this, contact me at the email address above, or 5975 Central Ave. Anacortes, WA. 98221, or 1-360-588-0875. It would be so very much appreciated.
