On April 10, 2014 the Angels came and took out beloved son, grandson, nephew, uncle, and friend to be with the Lord.
John George LaSarte, Jr., age 17, was born July 26, 1996 in Poplar, MT to Kayleen DeMarrias and John LaSarte, Sr. John was a Junior at Poplar High School. John loved playing basketball and being with his friends. He would always say he is going to hang out with his brothers. His favorite basketball team was OKC Thunder. He loved spending time with his sisters, Morgan and Shaila. He loved all his brothers and sisters. He was always telling stories about what he and his brother Devone did. John spent a lot of his time with his gramma, Patsy and grandpa, Bud. John moved in with his gramma and grandpa a few years ago.
John is survived by his mother, Kayleen (Jason) DeMarrias; father, John (Tresa) LaSarte, Sr.; grandparents, Patsy and Bud Two Bulls; sisters, Morgan Wise Spirit and Shaila LaSarte of Poplar, and Alexis of Hays, MT; brothers, Devone of Dodson, MT, Jarron and JD LaSarte of Hays; grandparents, Fred DeMarrias of Wyoming, Nick and Darla Johnson of Dodson; great grandmother, Florence “Torchy” Matt of Dodson; great grandpa, George Ricker of Poplar; grandmas, Debbie and Junia (Jonzie) Walking Eagle of Poplar; grandpas, Donald and George (Beverly) Walking Eagle of Poplar; Benji and George Walking Eagle of Poplar, Alfred Walking Eagle of Oregon; uncles, Tony DeMarrias, Charles (Mallisa) Two Bulls, Gator (Vicky) Walking Eagle of Billings, Eddy and Kelly Walking Eagle of Poplar, Emmett (Rusti) Buckles of Poplar, Walkin (Andrea) Brown, and Royce and Dawain Spotted Bird of Poplar; aunties, Michelle DeMarrias of Harlem, Dani Walking Eagle, Jeri (Scott) Kirn, Charlene (Bernard) Youpee, Janice, Jackie, and Jonna Spotted Bird all of Poplar, Erica Johnson of Dodson, Nikki (Evan) Azure of Washington, Echo Johnson of Dodson, Lalita (Ken) Swan, Deena (Marquis) James, Robert (Cathy) Bear, Angel (Kim) Iron Bear all of Dodson, and Patricia Walking Eagle of Hays; and many family members in Montana, Alabama, and North Dakota.
He is preceded in death by maternal great grandparents, Donald and Ida Walking Eagle; grandmas, Kathleen Ricker and Irene Walking Eagle; auntie, Claytina Whiteman; and cousin, Vanessa Two Bulls.

A prayer service 7 p.m. Monday, April 14 at the Activity Center in Poplar. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday April 15 at the Activity Center in Poplar. Interment will follow at the Two Bulls Family Cemetery 5 miles northwest of Poplar. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point has been entrusted with the arrangements.

I remember john in school. He was a good friend i sometimes played ball with him but not always.. I seen John everyday and ide say hello and he was always like “oh hey tyga whatsup?” Its crazy but my candolesences to the family as well.
