I met sweet little Karter on May 2nd and he immediately stole my heart. I am a volunteer at Children’s hospital. Karter first and foremost was a fighter. Every weekend that I spent with him, he became stronger, kept his eyes open longer, looked around more. He loved it when you held his hand and nuzzled your face against his. He had the cutest sneezes you’ve ever heard. We read together and watched cartoons. But mostly I rocked him and sang to him. On the evening before his passing, I played piano music on my phone for him. He seemed to really enjoy it and he kept his eyes open for the longest time. May you rest in peace sweet boy. I am certain you are with your two grandmothers in Heaven and I’m sure they are spoiling you with all the love in the world. I will never forget you and will miss you always! Love, Courtney
