Kyleen La’Rae BullChief “Holy Hawk Woman” (Ceda Waká Wiya), age 33, born June 30, 1987. She began her journey on June 8, 2021 surrounded by her family and all who loved her.
Kyleen was born to Marvin Clyde BullChief, Jr. and Timilyn Russell. She was raised by her father Marvin BullChief, Jr and her mom Amanda BullChief. She was fortunate enough to have two mothers who loved her dearly. She enjoyed cooking, baking, eating, cake making and decorating, listening to music, going to powwows, watching her daughters and niece dance, visiting family and friends. She could always make someone laugh with her crazy sense of humor, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her wo beautiful daughters, Ashlyn and Daralyn, who she cherished and held close to her heart.
She met the love of her life Alfred “A.J. Iron Bear and her life with him they had two beautiful daughters, Ashlyn IronBear-BullChief and Daralyn BullChief. She also took his son Alfred Iron Bear III as her own and loved him dearly. They were on and off throughout their lives. She had a very special niece, Jacora Youngman, who she loved and took as her own.
She is survived by mom Amanda BullChief and mother Timilyn Russell. Her daughters Ashlyn and Daralyn BullChief, niece/daughter Jacora Youngman, sisters Renae BullChief and Miranda Youngman (OJ), adopted sisters Jen RedThunder (Shantre) and Winona Longee, brothers Marvin BullChief III (Julia), Kyle Youngman, Bradley BullChief, Darris RedEagle and Quentin BullChief (Sam), aunts Marva BullChief, Myra BullChief (Brian), Tara Douglas (Robert) and Kenda Russell (Martin), three very special aunts Mary Plante (Greg), Carole RedEagle and Emoree Gray who she was very close with, uncles Gerrid RedEagle and Brian Jones, grandmother Pauline Boxer, grandfather Andrew FourStar. She had many nieces and nephews who she helped raise, Jacora Youngman, Pearl, Jayden and Jocelyn BullChief, My’Aunna and Blithe BullChief, Anissa BullChief, Rayland, Da’Shawn, Dreyton and Jathan RedEagle, Jameryn Limberhand and JaCoven Youngman, three nieces who she enjoyed visiting Brooklyn BullChief, Imani BullChief.
She is preceded in death by her father Marvin BullChief, Jr., her grandparents Marvin BullChief, Sr. and Darlene FourStar-Gray, Allen Lester and Ella Russell, a very special grandmother Beverly RedEagle, aunt Shirlene BullChief, uncles Steven Douglas, Jr. and Dean Good Bird and numerous cousins.
I apologize if I may have forgotten to mention anyone. She’s going to be missed by all who loved her.
