Linda Fisher/Renquist says
Only a few people truly knew Larry. Rough around the edges but a heart of gold and there when u really needed him. It was hard for him to show his feelings and at times they were not reflected in the best way but he loved his family and friends. Some may think as I do that we needed more time, but I talked with Larry every Sunday and he never faltered on how much he loved his wife, children, grandkids, brothers, mother, father, extended families, and especially the lord. He said he had a lot of regrets and wished he could go back and change the things he did, especially to the ones that he loved. If u knew what Larry went through as a child u would understand his intentions were good, He was my best friend growing up and just like all of you I am hurting, I don’t know why God took him at the time he did, God’s ways our higher that ours, but God did not give Larry cancer, He loved him to much. My daughter said Larry’s probably up there dancing with his mom, dad, and brother – I say he’s redecorating God’s office. We all come with a expiration date, no matter what anyone says, so tell ur loved ones everyday how much u love them and how special they are. The last thing Larry and I said to each other every time we talked was “I Love You” and he always told me how much he loved his kids and how proud he was of them and his grandkids. They were his greatest assets, along with Shannon as he made Montana his final home.
When my mom died Larry came to stay with me for a while, In the middle of the night he would wake me up singing to Vince Gills CD ” Go Rest High on That Mountain ” If you want to know who Larry was, listen to the song. So brother, go rest cause your time on earth is through. I will miss you and never stop aching to see you until my time on earth is through.

I was just thinking about my dad today and wanting to tell Shannon thank you for being there for him all the time that he was sick and needed you. I really wanted to see him before he died but with my amputation I could not make it to Montana to see him. I am so glad you were there for him Shannon because I know how much he loved you and you loved him. I just wish I could have seen him for one last time because I really wanted him to stay in my life for a long time because I didn’t have him that long. I love you dad and I will always miss you. I was finally getting to know you and now you are gone and I can’t stop crying. I hope you are looking down on me right now and hearing me telling you I love you. Shannon again, thank you cause he really needed you and you were always there for him. God bless you all. I love you dad and always will.

My sincere condolences to Larry’s Family. I just found out of his passing (4/12/15), I grew up in the same neighborhood and would fish and skate at the “Rezzy” with him and his siblings. He was always smiling or laughing,
