Leah Rae Feather passed away on October 13, 2018 at her home in Wolf Point, MT. She was born to Lorraine Red Boy and Melvin Feather, Jr. on April 27, 1972. Her mother passed before Leah was a year old and was raised by her grandmother Lela Red Boy and her other mother Merceline (Peggy) Red Boy. Leah attended school ion Poplar, Wolf Point, Chemawa and Kicking Horse where she got her carpentry license. She liked to play machines, word puzzles, play cards and was a great dice roller. She liked a variety of music and she could really bust a move on the dance floor and that’s how she got her nickname Tiny Dancer. Leah liked to “score” onher family and friends, always had us laughing.
Leah leaves behind her children Maurice Wade, Christian Rain, Randall George, John Paul and Lauren Rae; her grandchildren Takota and Deshaun; sisters Lesley Red Boy of Wolf Point, Evangeline Vijil of Bluff, UT; brothers Adrian Red Boy of Poplar, Paul Feather, Ellis Red Boy and Alvah Talks Different of Wolf Point; mother Merceline Red Boy; aunt Vermae Taylor; nieces Wilhelmina, Eden, Krysta, Stephanie, Avah, Amira and Allison; nephews Breon, Trenton, Charles and A.J., Alvin (Cubby) Talks Different of Ft. Belknap whom she called Dad; uncle Donavon Red Boy.
Leah was preceded in death by both of her parents, maternal and paternal grandparents, brothers Melvyn Joseph, Allen Dewayne and Phillip John Red Boy; sister cousin Williamette Ogle, companion Teddy Hines; aunts Bette Iron Ring, Vera Ironman, Serena Good Soldier and Alice Red Boy.
