Mary Waller was my beautiful, precious, sweet Gram! She was The Matriarch of Our family!
She was always “The Go to person”, the one we could always go to when we needed to vent, gripe, or tell our secrets to! She was never too busy for any of us grandkids! We knew we could tell her anything and that she would never break a confidence! She was wise beyond her years, even way back then when we didn’t think she was old, she was “Just Cool”! She will be missed Greatly! She was loved by everyone who’s lives she ever touched! She was an example for all of us of what we should want to be like when we get to be her age! She is our Legacy for our lives and our children’s lives! Heaven received a beautiful angel on January 21st! I know she is with God and resting in his arms now! So as hard as this is, we have to say goodbye to the sweetest, most beloved woman, and Grandmother that I know! I Was and Am So PROUD to have called her my Gram for all these years! So Farewell my beautiful Gram! May you forever be, Dancing with the Angels! Till we see you again! I love you Gram, always and forever!

I spent so many summers with her and Grampa.Charla was correct in saying that she heard a lot of confidences and was a great resource for advice as well. I have so many great memories of my times spent with Gramma. I have several beautiful quilts ,afghans, doilies, and even some crocheted Chrstmas tree garland she made for me.. I will miss being able to call and talk with her f or no reason or to ask her advice. I know she is no longer in pain, but we will miss having her here with us, now that God has called her home.

There are no words to accurately convey who and what Gram was to me. I agree with everything Charla wrote. Even though Gram and I were not geographically close, she was so much a part of me, there was never ANY inkling of distance. She taught me more in the few weeks I spent with her, than most people are able to share in a lifetime. Today, I find myself (as a grandma), enjoying …yet scrambling to do, teach and instill those foundational values, lessons, skills and attitude, in my grandaughter, that seemed to come so effortlessly from Gram, because she was just COOL! She will be greatly missed and the world is better for her having been part of it for the last almost 95 years. May God Bless her & Heaven welcome her. She will forever be a part of me & generations to come. 🙂

Mary was a very gentle kind lady who always had a smile on her face. Her eyes always had a twinkle and a bright sparkle in them. She is always made you feel so special. I have a bun recipe that I use of Mary’s. when I would call and ask my Mom for a bun recipe she would always reply and say use Mary’s that is in the cook book it never fails. To this day I use. Mary will be missed by those that knew her and were touched by her caring love heart. I am glad to have had the pleasure of knowing and being touched by a very special lady. God Bless all of you. Love and Prayers to you all.

I remember your Mother and Gram from visits I made with her later in her life…she was always there, but I just didn’t stop to see her on my way to and from Froid. When I did finally have occasion to drop in, I thoroughly enjoyed our time. She was so caring and interested in what my family was up to. I should have stopped EVERY trip by her house…I felt so good when I had spent time with her. I know she LOVED her family so much…visible in the many homemade gifts she was working on or had in the works when I did stop . She will be missed, but I will treasure my memories with her. So sorry for your loss, but she is happy where she is now! Take care, we are thinking of you all…..
