I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one. Please take notice of the promise at Acts 24:15, which says that there is going to be a resurrection. For this work, God longs to do it. (Job 14:14, 15) May these scriptures bring you a measure of comfort in your time of mourning.

I remember our nerdy pen duels after school, to see who could out nerd whom, by seeing who was carrying the most pens in our pockets. Of course we had to prolong it by showing only one at a time. I also vaguely remember a story he told me about how his sister got slapped by a trout. 😮 I have fond memories of our time together in Pinon, Arizona.
You are in our prayers.
