Also remember Pearl from my childhood and especially when I was Chairman of the Poplar Indian Committee, she would always stick up for me. From than on I always said Pearl you still have my back. Enjoyed her visit to my office. Had a lot of laughs, she had a good sense of humor. We are losing our elders and a lot of history.
Enjoy your eternal peace in the presence of the Lord

My condolences to the family. I often ran into pearl on my outings and there she’d be. She always had a laugh and a smile for me as I would tease her that she never stayed home and always on the go someplace. She really had a heart of gold. I’ll surely miss her. She blessed us with her presence. 🙏.

I met Pearl in 1987 at Green Grass SD. We cut bags and bags of sage for the Sun Dance.
I told her that when I won the lottery the first thing I would do is buy her a car. Every time I saw her after that she asked if I had the winning .numbers.
We enjoyed many cups of tea and cookies over the years. I will miss seeing her When I come back to Poplar to visit. I feel very thankful for her friendship.
