Reanna Joy Four Bear Pinkerton, “Mato Topa Wiya” (Four Bear Woman), age 26, of Poplar, MT passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at the North Eastern Montana Health Service in Poplar.
Reanna was born on September 24, 1986, along with her twin brother, Kyle Wayne, to Noreen Four Bear and Willis McClammy in Sidney, MT.
She married the love of her life, Robert “Todd” Pinkerton on September 5, 2008. To this union, the apple of her eye, Payten Kylar, was born. The 3 of them eventually settled North of Poplar and she enjoyed the country life. She attended school in Poplar, where she was a cheerleader and made lifelong friendships. She was an avid music fan, loved to cruise, visit family and friends, and her latest enjoyment was cooking. She got her most enjoyment and complete happiness when she would play with her daughter, Payten Kylar.
Reanna is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Virgil Four Bear and Eleanora McKay; uncle and aunt, “Big Daddy” and Davetta; and maternal great grandparents, Dan and Rena Comeslast.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Pinkerton of Poplar; daughter, Payten Pinkerton of Poplar; mother, Noreen of Poplar; father, Willis McClammy of Poplar; twin brother, Kyle Wayne Four Bear of Poplar; brothers, Marcel Four Bear of Poplar and John McClammy of Poplar; adopted mom, Sarah Bergie of Poplar; aunts, Rena Williams, Violet Comeslast, and Gaynell McClammy, DelRay Red Door, Haven G. and Faith O. all of Poplar; uncles, Charlie, Dale, and Cornell Four Bear, Pat and Robert McClammy, Reese Red Door, Daniel Comeslast, Dana Comeslast and Leory Comeslast all of Poplar; grandpas, Floyd McKay of Ft. Totten, ND and Daniel Comeslast, Sr. of Wolf Point, MT; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss her dearly. Reanna’s extended family includes the White Eagle, Perry, Chopper, Black Dog, Buck Elk, First and Comeslast families.
A wake will be held 7 p.m. Sunday, November 4 at the Cultural Center in Poplar. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, November 5 also at the Cultural Center in Poplar. Interment will follow at the Box Elder Cemetery in Poplar.
Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point has been entrusted with the arrangements.
