Richard Buck Blount, age 42 of Wolf Point, went to be with the lord on January 18, 2016 at the Billings Clinic in Billings, MT.
Richard was born on May 11, 1973 in Wolf Point, Montana. He was the son of Harold Dean Blount and Sadie Mae Follet. He grew up and attended schools in Frazer. Richard lived life to the fullest, always filled a room with laughter. He was a kind and loving soul who loved to tease and make people laugh. He touched many lives with his humor and loved to tell a good story. He had very good memory and could tell detailed parts to everyone. Rich or “Coach” whom he was known to many of his “Fab Five” teams he coached. Coaching was his passion and he took pride in it. Rich loved his family very much, his nephews and nieces whom he loved as his own could always count on him for anything whether it would be advice, a shoulder to cry on or just be there for them. His great nieces and nephews were special to him as well. He always made sure he checked on them to make sure they were ok. He told his sisters and brothers daily that he loved them. We know he will always love and watch over them from Heaven above. Most of all he loved his wife Phoebe with all his heart. His son Joey was the highlight of his life. He was so proud of him and all the things he did on and off the basketball court. That was the greatest joy when his son got old enough for him to play for his little fab five team. Richard was an animal lover and was known to bring strays home. He loved his two dogs, three cats and one goldfish.
Our husband, father, son, brother, uncle, grandpa Rich will live on forever in the hearts of many people whom he befriended along his loving life. The memories are endless.
Rich is survived by his loving wife Phoebe; his son Joey; his father Dean Harold Blount; his brothers and sisters: Roger White Sr., Carol (Karl) Wallette, Vicky (Tom) Dahl, Thomas Blount, Melanie (Mike) Cole, Waylan (Michelle) Blount. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews he loved as his own and most of all his great nieces and nephews whom he adored.
