Safe Journey my friend, my mentor, The Honorable Chief Robert “Bob” Four Star. May you always know that you are loved by all. Your beautiful wife Judy is very sad to have you travel forward and your beautiful children. God bless all your children. Your son Roger was honored to do your farewell ceremony and he did an excellent one. You have prepared him for this day and I know you are so proud of how the ceremony was done. May our Creator bless his whole family on Mother Earth – and give them comfort. Love to you and your wonderful wife Judy and all your babies and the hurting Takojas.

My dear friend Bob, i am grieved that i did not keep in better contact. Forgive me. You were a kind and wise man. You always encouraged me and taught me and included me in the ways of your people, the people you loved. I went to make a phone call today and when it said the number was no longer in service, i knew. I knew you had crossed over. I am sad to have missed you. I am blessed to have known you. Thank you Bob, for everything. I am a better person because i have known you.
Lisa Tedder says
This is a great loss to the community. I will always remember him teaching some of the best classes I have ever had, at FPCC. His knowledge and expertise in American Indian Studies was unsurpassed by any one else. He was always so very traditional and taught the younger generations the Nakona language and other traditions that were passed on from one generation to the next. I loved him!
