Rodney C. Stormy, “Hot Rod”, age 52, of Poplar, MT passed away on Monday, October 14, 2013 at the Billings Clinic in Billings, MT.
Hot Rod was born to Clarence “Sarge” Stormy and Lorraine Wakan Stormy in Poplar, MT on August 28, 1961. He attended school in Brigham City, Utah and Poplar High School, where he graduated. Hot Rod went onto FPCC where he got a degree in carpentry. Hot Rod worked in Wolf Point for Harley and Pat Will for 14 years getting to know them as his adopted parents.
He is survived by his mother, Lorraine Stormy; brother, Richard Stormy; sister, Jackie (John) Spotted Bird; children, Russell and Alex Stormy, Raymond Littlehead, Skye Belt, Autumn and Apryl Stormy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence; brothers, Richard, John, James, and Russell Stormy; and maternal and paternal grandparents.
A prayer service will be held from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. Monday, October 21 at the House of Prayer in Poplar. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 22 at the House of Prayer in Poplar. Interment will follow at the St. Ann’s Cemetery in Poplar.
