I remember Rosie as a sweet loving aunt who never had anything bad to say about anyone. We used to go over to her house as kids and she was the best cook there was. I always looked forward to going over to Orval and Rosie’s to visit, to eat or to play. There will never be another Rosie. She was one of a kinds and I have been blessed to know her and call her Auntie.

I practically lived at Rosie’s home when I was younger. I would walk a couple blocks from my house to play with John and Mary. Us three could be a handful, but I never ever remember Rosie getting angry or even annoyed with us. If she did, she sure didn’t show it. She always made me feel welcome when I would be at their home. She was a kind, patient and loving mother/woman.

To my beloved aunt whom I loved very much. I don’t know if I ever told her how much I appreciated her babysitting Misty for me, I always knew she was safe with her, She tried to protect her from Uncle Orval and John, but didn’t always succeed. I think they tormented Misty to make scream to irritate Rosie. I will be forever grateful to her for being a loving and caring person. RIP Aunt Rosie! Love you and Miss you!
