Sandra Colleen Bieri-Svenningson was born in Minot, North Dakota on April 4, 1943 to Fred and Agnes Bieri. She entered Heaven’s gates on March 25, 2017.
A loving mother and homemaker, family and friends were Sandra’s passion and delight. Her ease and frequent conversation with even total strangers, endured her to many. Her contagious smile and an entertaining scene of humor made her an unforgettable person.
Sandra had an unwavering faith in God. Possessing a true servants heart Sandra faithfully cared for her family and friends.
With a real zest for life, Sandra loved to dance, doodle, bowl, play games and cards especially with her grandchildren and chat with friends and family. Sandra was known for her love of pranks and amazing love of animals especially out on the farm. A special time for Sandra was the Christmas pilgrimage to her Granddaughters house where they all could be together.
Sandra is predeceased by her loving husband of 33 years, Robert A. Svenningson. She is also predeceased by her soul mate Myron Grendahl and most recently beloved partner James Doney, her brother Bud Bieri, step grandson Damion Sanders and great granddaughter Meghan Okon. Sandra is survived by her sister Bonnie Vaughnes (Morris),, brother Allen Bieri (Rosie), son Todd Svenningosn (Kandi), daughter Margie Greenwood (Gary) and daughter Debbie Kuryn ( Josh.) She is also survived by four grandchildren, Dezerae Nagel(Cody), Chelsea Carter, Stephenee Carter and Robert Cooper. She had six great-grandchildren.
With a heart as big as Sandra’s, that was not enough family for her. She joyfully adopted Traci Sanders (Diane,Blayde), Mike Doney (Celina, Mychael, Mary, Thomas, Joseph and Cody) , Jacey Gwin and many others.
Her step son, Mike Doney and his wife Celina, lovingly cared for her the last few years of her life. Lori Collins and the wonderful staff at Faith Lutheran Home in Wolf Point provided assistance with her care in recent years. The family gives them and everyone else who cared for Sandra their greatest gratitude.
