Terry Lee (Hansen) Lien, 64, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2016, at home surrounded by family.
She was born on Feb. 7, 1952, to Neil and Verine (Long) Hansen in Wolf Point, MT. She married her high school sweetheart, Jim Lien, on July 24 1970. They lived together in Wolf Point before relocating to Rapid City in 1990.
Terry lived her life with great passion for her family and friends. She had the ability to light up a room and you could always find her in a crowded area, all you had to do was listen for her distinct, contagious laugh. She enjoyed camping, fishing, spending time at the lake, watching all of her grandkids participate in sports, playing cards with friends, cooking, making salsa, sewing, gardening and always had a yard full of beautiful flowers. The old Hi-Line Roping Club days were more entertaining with Terry and her crew, where she was a long time secretary. She truly lived her life to the fullest and will be dearly missed by so many. To know her, was to love her.
Terry is survived by the love of her life, her husband, Jim; her three beloved children: Wendy Lien, Shay (Nate) Livermont, Rapid City, and Wyatt (Andrea) Lien, Malta, MT; 10 grandchildren: Bretton, MaKaysa, Shyanna, Mayson, Zeke, Kaia, Zayden, Macey, Tenley and Hudson; sister, Phyllis (Stan) Dowse; brothers, Lyle, Russ (Linda) and Marvin (Bobbi) Hansen; mother-in-law, Dolores Lien; sisters-in-law, Darlene (Dave) Twitchell and Linda (Bob) Shumway; brothers-in-law, Wayne (Polly), Lester, Lynn (Laurie) and Steve Lien; her best friend, Donna Mann; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Neil and Verine; her brother, Raymond; her son, Dustin James; twin infant daughters; grandson, Kaige Farlee; and father-in-law, Eldon Lien.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 13, at First Lutheran Church, with burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Wolf Point.
