My heart is heavy to hear of my dear good friend Vera, she always had a smile every time I seen her. I have had the privilege and honor to dance beside this wonderful woman, for years we participated at the Medicine Lodge in Oswego. I will always treasure those memories, and I will always treasure our friendship, she will have a special place and memory in my heart. My heart goes out to her husband who was always with her, my prayers are with you. And to her grandchildren, especially her granddaughter of whom she thought the world of, I will keep you all in my prayers. You all had a wonderful great woman in your lives, always treasure those memories, and listen to her teachings so you as her grandchildren can carry on her legacy. With love and prayers, Nina Fox from Mandaree, North Dakota

My heartfelt condolences to the family of Vera Ironman. She was an awesome lady, when she worked at Spotted Bull she had compassion for the kids. She made them hardy meals. I loved her fry bread, and she made Will miss her, smile.
