To the Family of Grace Nees Nesbit: As a nine year younger cousin from the Nees side I always looked up to a much taller girl cousin from Poplar who with her family visited our farm at Kalispell. Back then I knew her as “Gracie”. Ten years ago when I called directory assistance to find her phone number in the Three Forks area I kept getting sent to a wrong Bozeman number of a “Grace Nesbit”. Finally the “Bozeman Grace” said that there were two Grace Nesbits in the area and gave me the other number near Three Forks. When I called what turned out to be the right number Grace answered “hello” and I said “Is this Gracie?” “Who in the world is calling me Gracie!” she exclaimed. After I told her who I was she understood that I only knew her as “Gracie” from way back when. Since then when I’ve called we laughed many times about that first “Gracie call. So sorry that Grace was not able to attend our Nees cousin reunion last year at Kalispell–we missed her greatly. God bless “Gracie ” and all of you as you remember and celebrate her life!

I regret that I probably won’t be able to attend any of the memorial events.
